Congratulations on taking the first step to providing your dog a lifetime of personalized nutrition! Here are some tips for making the transition from your old food to COAST+RANGE:

Food Transition:

WEEK ONE - Feed 1/3 COAST+RANGE and 2/3 OLD food
WEEK TWO - Feed 2/3 COAST+RANGE and 1/3 OLD food

Daily Feeding:

The feeding instructions on the package are general guidelines and are not personalized to the unique needs of your dog. A better option is to follow the personalized feeding instructions for your dog that are e-mailed to you each time your order ships. You can also access your personalized feeding instructions anytime by loging into your account at As always, be sure to give your dog unrestricted access to plenty of fresh, filtered, water all day. Why FILTERED water? Check out our BLOG for the reasons why!

COAST+RANGE dog foods come in bio-degradeable packages that are re-sealable. To maximize freshness, we recommend keeping our foods in their bags and re-sealing after each use. Store the bags in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight.

What to Expect:

COAST+RANGE foods are made from whole food ingredients from nature (like duck, eggs, organic sweet potato, squash, and blueberries) not vitamins made in a lab like most dog food companies. Because our foods are so nutritionally dense, you should expect to feed your dog less COAST+RANGE (on a per cup basis) than your old food. Also, because our foods contain ingredients your dog needs (not cheap fillers like the other guys), you should expect to see smaller poops. This is normal and means your dog is digesting, and using, more of their food than before!

Your Next Order

Your next order is scheduled to arrive 2-3 days before we expect you to run out of food (which is based on the personalized feeding instructions for your dog - see above). If you have any questions about what date your food will arrive, login to your account at and scroll down to see your next delivery date and make changes to your account (new address, new credit card #, etc.).

Hi Tami G.! Thanks for your comment! We just emailed you some more information about your pups’ COAST+RANGE recommendations. I also wanted to give you some general information on our pricing :)

You can use our pricing calculator which will tell you how much your dogs will eat daily, how much the cost will be, and how long each carton will last. Once you complete the short questionnaire about your dog, the calculator will display the above-mentioned information for all four formulas so you can easily see the cost no matter which formula you chose :)

You can view our general pricing or use this calculator on the ‘Pricing + Feeding’ page on the main menu of this site :)

Take care!

I have a 10 year old Brittany Spaniel/lab mix, she is over weight @ 52 lbs. Sassi is on Thyroid medication, and gets an allergy shot every 4 weeks due to extreme skin allergies, so bad she has ended up with skin ulcers.
We also have 2 Golden Retrievers, females both Spaded, Emma is 3 yrs old & weighs 65 lbs & Tillie, 1 yrs old, weighs 55 lbs.
A friend of mine suggested I check into your product to see if maybe food allergies could be some of our older dog issue. We feed them together, however they each have their own bowl and know which one is theirs. Can you give me a price of what it would cost us to feed our dogs monthly with your brand.
At this time I am feeding them Purina Pro Plan Beef and we go through 65lbs in about a month.
I have an account with Chewy who ships to us monthly.
Thanks for your advice.

Hi Louise! Have you tried a sample of our gently -baked foods? For Duchess, we would recommend the Norwegian Salmon Formula. It contains no chicken and has a moderate fiber level that can be good for dogs with IBD. We also recommend soaking our food for 1-2 minutes in warm, filtered water or organic bone broth to soften the food and make it much easier to digest. I will send you an email with some more information!

Hi, my dog Duchess is a 45 lb Staffordshire terrier. She has been diagnosed with IBD. She also has allergies to chicken and something outdoors. She doesn’t digest food well and also takes pepcid daily. Her current food is perscription royal canine HD. We feed small portions 2x a day, sometimes she throws up and won’t eat if she knows her tummy isn’t feeling well. I feel she just doesn’t get enough nutrition. Any suggestions?

I am a breeder and have multiple dogs and with litters of pups I am sometimes feeding as many as 30-35 dogs and puppies. Do you offer breeder discount pricing? I’d also like to know more about your foods, ingredients would be great….. Thanks! Linda
