RECENT STUDY QUESTIONS THE EFFECTIVENESS OF CBD USE IN DOGS

One of the top questions we get here at COAST+RANGE is do you offer CBD for dogs. The answer is, no we do not for several reasons. The first is that the FDA has not deemed CBD safe for dogs. This makes it illegal at the state and federal level to sell CBD products for dogs. It's worth noting that seemingly hundreds of companies do this ever day but the reality is that they are all violating the law and possibly jeopardizing your pet's health.

In addition, recent studies question the effectiveness of CBD in dogs - scientists from the University of Kentucky published their findings in the scientific journal Frontiers in Veterinary Science in September 2020 and found that CBD at tested levels had no effect on cortisol levels in the blood when compared to the control group of dogs.
